Strategic Financial Director

Job Summary:

Our company seeks an accomplished Financial Director to drive financial strategy and lead high-performing finance teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and strategic planning processes.
  • Provide timely, accurate financial insights to support executive decision-making.
  • Oversee project accounting functions, including budgeting, billing, variation orders, cost tracking, and profitability analysis.
  • Manage cash flow projections and funding requirements specific to project lifecycles.
  • Ensure full compliance with statutory and tax regulations.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor robust internal controls and accounting policies.

Requirements:

  • Min. Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a relevant discipline with CPA, ACCA, or CA qualification.
  • Min. 5 years of finance experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Proven involvement in supporting a company's journey to IPO (SGX or equivalent) is essential.
  • Strong understanding of project accounting, cost control, and risk management in a contract-based business.
  • Proficiency with accounting systems and ERP software.
  • Fluent in Mandarin & English to liaise with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
