Your Challenge:

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Finance Manager to support our growing needs with respect to the accounting cycle.

The incumbent will work closely with business unit leaders and the Finance Director to analyse business performance and financial analysis.

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual statements
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
  • Process daily financial transactions, including AP, AR, following up with any discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Manage AP, AR
  • Prepare AR invoices for review
  • Reconcile general ledgers, as well as vendor statements
  • Maintain internal financial controls and procedures
  • Manage cash flow
  • Support external audit
  • Assist in the preparation of quarterly GST returns
  • Provide support in the preparation of the annual tax returns
