Job Description

The role of Fiber Project Manager is a critical position in the development and scale of one of the world's largest and most complex networks. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing fiber projects on behalf of AWS.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Project management of the delivery of fiber projects on behalf of AWS
  • Ensuring construction standards and installation specifications are followed
  • Performing quality audits of outside plant and inside plant installations

As a seasoned professional in technical infrastructure management, you will bring valuable experience and knowledge to this role. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who can lead multiple large network construction programs, understand construction standards in multiple regions, and drive continuous improvement and deliver the highest quality connectivity solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • 3+ years of technical infrastructure management experience
  • A strong understanding of best practices and emerging technologies related to infrastructure
  • Experience with varying scenarios of infrastructure builds

We also welcome candidates with preferred qualifications including 5+ years in Project Management, having strong contacts in fiber, transport and infrastructure markets, and leading multiple large network construction programs.
