Art Collections Manager

This is a dynamic role that involves working with art collections, from accessioning and cataloging to exhibitions and conservation.

  • Manage storage repositories and safeguard the collection in accordance with established policies, SOPs, guidelines, and preventive conservation practices.
  • Perform annual stocktake and assist with audits to maintain accountability of the collection.
  • Manage and maintain accurate collections data and movements in the collections database.
  • Supervise art-handlers and external contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project management skills – ability to plan and execute projects in an effective and efficient manner.
  • Stakeholder management skills – ability to build and sustain relationships with stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Preferably at least 1 year working experience with degree or discipline relevant to collections management work, such as Museum Studies, Preventive Conservation, Information Science, Business/Arts Management, or a combination of related training and experience.
  • Fresh graduates with a passion for culture and heritage are welcome to apply.
