Carpentry Production Director

The Carpentry Operations Director is responsible for overseeing all activities in the carpentry production facility. This includes supervising teams, managing timelines and resources, ensuring quality control, and optimizing workflow and productivity in accordance with project requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Production & Operations Management:
- Oversee daily carpentry workshop and site operations.
- Coordinate project schedules to ensure timely completion of production and installation.
- Monitor and manage resources including materials, manpower, and machinery.
- Enforce safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
- Staff Supervision & Development:
- Lead and supervise carpenters, installers, and workshop staff.
- Delegate tasks, conduct training, and evaluate performance.
- Address manpower requirements and recommend hiring or training where necessary.
- Quality Assurance:
- Ensure all carpentry works meet design specifications and quality standards.
- Conduct inspections at various stages of production and installation.
- Resolve technical issues and defects promptly.
- Project Coordination:
- Liaise with designers, project managers, clients, and subcontractors to align production with expectations.
- Attend site meetings and update stakeholders on progress.
- Track and report on project milestones, delays, and adjustments.
- Inventory & Cost Control:
- Manage material procurement and inventory.
- Monitor production costs to minimize wastage and stay within budget.
- Propose improvements to reduce cost and increase efficiency.
