Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the engineering team to identify trends and provide constructive feedback to enable timely and cost-effective action.
- Support the engineering team in fleet management disciplines, including administrative documentation, knowledge management, and regular reports.
- Review lost mileage and target the worst-performing model types, working with engineering managers to identify performance issues and potential solutions.
- Monitor and report vehicle breakdown trends and root cause analysis.
- Analyze and study the fuel/electrical efficiency of vehicles and recommend changes or modifications to optimize fuel/electrical efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with engineering documents to maintain ISO accreditations.
- Collaborate with fleet maintenance software suppliers for enhancements and authority requirements.
- Manage ad-hoc engineering projects as defined by the Engineering Director.
- Passionate about buses, automotive technologies, and advancements, with a desire to improve the Singapore public transport industry.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Microsoft Excel.
- Basic proficiency in Power BI Desktop and related tools, including Power Query.
- Some certifications in data visualization, design, aesthetics, and user experience principles are desirable.
- Some knowledge of writing Python scripts and VBA macros is preferred, but training will be provided.
- Self-learner and independent.
- Strategic mindset and the ability to identify opportunities to use data to improve processes and business growth.
