As a skilled cloud architect, you will design and deploy scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud infrastructure using AWS best practices. Your responsibilities will include managing and optimizing AWS resources, implementing and maintaining monitoring, logging, and alerting, ensuring security best practices are followed, performing regular backups, disaster recovery, and failover strategies, troubleshooting cloud-related issues, and collaborating with DevOps/Development teams on CI/CD pipeline integration.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Min 3 years of hands-on experience in cloud engineering with strong AWS expertise.
  • Prior experience working in government/public sector required.

Technical Requirements:

  • Proficiency in core AWS services: EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, RDS, Lambda, Route 53.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) - Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jenkins, CodeBuild).
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts (DNS, VPN, firewalls, load balancers).
  • Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Experience with Linux system administration and/or Windows servers.
  • Knowledge of containerization (Docker, ECS, or Kubernetes/EKS).
