As a Junior Accountant, you will play a vital role in our dynamic finance team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Work-in-Progress (WIP) to ensure accurate tracking and reconciliation.
- Administer trust accounts and perform reconciliations while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Support internal audit checks and contribute to robust financial controls.
- Verify billing entries prepared by the administrative team.
- Process accounts payable transactions, including invoice checks and vendor reconciliations.
- Assist with month-end closing and other finance projects as needed.
- Contribute to cash management activities, such as monitoring multi-currency accounts and preparing payment requests.
- Support the preparation of management reports, monthly closing, budgets, and financial forecasts.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment of financial processes with commercial activities.
- Support audit, tax, and compliance reporting in line with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
- Participate in finance projects and process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Accounting or related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of accounting experience from professional services, legal, or consultancy firms.
- Familiarity with AP, billing, or audit processes; exposure to WIP or trust accounts is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems.
- Attention to detail, organized, and comfortable working under deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
