Job Title: Cloud Network Security Specialist

Cloud network security is a critical aspect of protecting an organization's assets from cyber threats. As a cloud network security specialist, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure cloud infrastructure to safeguard against unauthorized access, data breaches, and other security risks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Implement Web Application Firewall (WAF) Solutions: Architect, deploy, and optimize WAF policies to protect against cyber threats.
  • Monitor and Maintain WAF: Implement proactive monitoring, conduct regular analysis, and execute maintenance to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Incident Response: Investigate security incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and develop mitigation strategies to minimize the impact of security breaches.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Maintain comprehensive documentation and ensure adherence to industry standards and compliance requirements.
  • Training and Continuous Improvement: Deliver best practices guidelines and stay updated on security trends and new technologies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in network security, with a strong focus on web application firewalls.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams; ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • In-depth knowledge of cloud network architecture and services, particularly within the Azure ecosystem.
  • Solid understanding of on-premises network routing, switching, and WAN services.
  • Expertise in Azure WAF technologies and familiarity with other WAF solutions.
  • Strong grasp of web application security principles and common vulnerabilities.
  • Proven experience in designing and managing Azure Web Application Firewalls.
  • Experience with log analysis tools and security information and event management (SIEM) systems.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Azure Security Engineer, CISSP).
