Teaching and Learning Leadership

The Centre of Teaching and Learning is seeking a visionary leader to drive innovation in teaching and learning strategies.

This role oversees curriculum design, faculty training, and the integration of educational technology to enhance learning outcomes for adult learners.

Key accountabilities include strategic development, curriculum design, content production, faculty development, EdTech integration, quality assurance, research, and stakeholder engagement.

  • Develop and implement cutting-edge teaching methodologies rooted in sound pedagogical principles.
  • Align curriculum development with adult learning principles and theoretical frameworks.
  • Collaborate on the creation, revision, and accreditation of academic programs.
  • Direct the production of multimedia instructional resources, including video-based lessons, interactive modules, and online course materials.
  • Provide training and technical guidance for faculty on designing and producing engaging instructional videos, e-learning assets, and other digital content.

Pre-requisites include a mature, biblically grounded faith in Holy Trinity, ongoing spiritual growth, commitment to integrating biblical principles into academic leadership and curriculum, and a Christ-centred approach to mentoring faculty and students.

Knowledge requirements include a Master of Education (Curriculum and Instructional), experience with online education and AI-driven learning tools, understanding of education trends, familiarity with accreditation standards for higher institutions, and knowledge of higher education governance and policies.

Experience requirements include 7-10 years in academic leadership, curriculum design, and EdTech innovation, 5 years of teaching experience at tertiary level, 5 years leading curriculum development projects and faculty training, and proven track record of implementing digital and hybrid learning models.

Skill requirements include strategic thinking, innovation, and leadership in pedagogy and curriculum design, ability to drive faculty engagement in curriculum reform and digital adoption, project management for curriculum development and faculty training initiatives, strong collaboration and mentorship skills, and awareness of diverse learning environments.
