Lead Software Developer for Secure Systems

The Lead Software Developer will play a pivotal role in running applications independently and driving project execution. They will work closely within the team and often outside the team, mentoring other engineers, and driving engineering excellence. This position offers the opportunity to design, develop, ship, and maintain medium-to-large projects related to Authorizations and Administration.

  • Technical Expertise: Drive and own the design and implementation of projects related to Authorizations & Administration.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate well with teammates and cross-functional partners.
  • Problem Solving: Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve incidents and operational issues.
  • Technical Quality: Implement code that is clear, concise, well-tested, and meeting both functional and non-functional requirements.

Requirements:

  • Strong technical background with experience in leading project delivery related to large-scale, secure systems.
  • Experience in authentication flows, role-based access control, and a good understanding of infrastructure, networking, and databases.
  • Great collaborator who is comfortable working across a variety of teams beyond engineering.
  • Fluency in Ruby and Angular development is an asset.
  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering with a strong focus on system design and development.
