Job Title: Educational Support Specialist
Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic educational support specialist to join our team. This role requires the ability to work effectively with children in a school setting, providing guidance and support as needed.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of child development and be able to use this knowledge to create engaging and interactive learning experiences for our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the class teacher in the care of the child, adhering to safeguarding and child protection guidelines
  • Independently supervise children during breaktimes, lunchtimes, or on trips
  • Use effective behavior management strategies consistently, in line with school policies and procedures
  • Carry out planned curriculum tasks with individuals or groups under teacher instruction
  • Listen to children read, using appropriate skills
  • Organize resources for the class and maintain educational equipment used by the class
  • Prepare classroom displays and help prepare art materials for class activities
  • Make a positive contribution to the wider life and ethos of the school, including ECAs and school events

Qualifications and Experience
  • Minimum 3 GCE 'O' or 'N' Level, including a credit in English and Maths
  • Experience working with children in a school setting
