Job Description">

The role involves government engagement on a broad set of issues, including energy and chemical industry regulations, tax, trade etc.

This requires a candidate who can track policy developments at early stage, develop strategic engagement plans and represent the company's interests to internal and external stakeholders.

You will provide counsel to business leaders and other key internal stakeholders on regulations and issues, with a bias for action to drive solutions.

Monitoring policy developments and providing timely analysis on geo-political, economic and societal developments, offering insights on macro policy and the regulatory landscape.

Evaluating and interpreting new and emerging policies or regulations to identify needs and develop advocacy plans.

Supporting senior executive engagement and advising on political and geo-political landscape, providing strategic vision, and working collaboratively with other internal teams (global/local) to develop advocacy positions consistent with corporate objectives and business priorities.

Providing regular policy updates and interpretations to local and global teams, country leadership team and relevant business lines.

As part of the Singapore P&GA team, supporting or leading in external-facing activities, including but not limited to government, trade associations, academia, etc.
