Job Title: Compliances Professional

The company is seeking a highly skilled Compliances Professional to lead and oversee the end-to-end Customer Due Diligence process across Retail, Institutional, and Prime Brokerage segments.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Head of Client Services and play a key role in ensuring compliance and operational excellence. They will supervise a team of reviewers responsible for onboarding and managing client lifecycle activities.

The Compliances Professional will act as the escalation point for complex client cases and internal stakeholder queries. They will drive the implementation of updated procedures and operational guidelines in accordance with evolving compliance policies.

They will oversee the team's daily operations, ensuring timely completion of tasks and adherence to regulatory and internal standards. The professional will partner with front-office teams to enhance existing workflows and co-develop new processes.

They will identify operational and compliance gaps, and introduce robust controls to address both current and emerging requirements. The Compliances Professional will mentor and develop team members to uphold consistent and high-quality customer due diligence practices.

They will liaise with internal and external auditors, and provide support during regulatory reviews or inspections. Continuously evaluate and enhance existing processes to improve productivity and reduce operational risk.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee the end-to-end Customer Due Diligence process across Retail, Institutional, and Prime Brokerage segments.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in AML/KYC within a risk, compliance, or control function in the financial services industry.
  • Minimum 3 years in a leadership or team management capacity.
  • Proven ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
  • Self-starter with a strong track record of driving change and delivering outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical and detail-oriented, with a strong risk awareness and problem-solving mindset.
  • Flexible team player with the ability to adapt to change and work collaboratively.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with experience in data analysis and reporting.
