Job Opportunity: As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the design of mechanical systems and products. Your expertise in sound engineering principles, combined with innovative thinking, will drive the development of mechanical design drawings that meet design objectives.

  • Lead the identification of quality improvements and establish clear objectives to implement them effectively.
  • Develop comprehensive mechanical design drawings by applying rigorous engineering principles, ensuring they meet design specifications and project requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with the Sales team on conceptual design projects, fostering open communication and effective collaboration.
  • Review designs thoroughly to ensure product costing control and project schedule adherence.
  • Ensure assigned machines undergo thorough testing before shipment, guaranteeing high-quality products for customers.
  • Discuss and resolve complex mechanical problems with the manufacturing department, customers, and suppliers, promoting seamless workflow and problem-solving.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is essential.
  • A positive work attitude, willingness to put in extra effort during peak periods, and ability to work under tight schedules with minimal supervision are highly valued.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are crucial for success in this role.
  • Design experience in similar capacities, preferably in industrial automation and robotic systems, is an added advantage.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD software is necessary for efficient design creation.
  • Occasional travel may be required for meetings and collaborations.
