Job Title: Agent - Air Export Customer Service

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Agent - Air Export Customer Service to join our team at Expeditors. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our internal and external customers, ensuring timely freight booking, shipment pick up, and related monitoring/coordination.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide prompt and polite responses to all incoming calls and customer inquiries.
  • Handle air export shipment bookings via various communication channels.
  • Attend to customers' enquiries and provide quotes for freight charges via email as necessary.
  • Ensure accurate and timely entry of required data into ETMS.
  • Comply with GDP/GDPMDS regulations and directives for Pharmaceutical & Healthcare requirements.
  • Provide flight details and timely feedback to customers on freight status.
  • Obtain rates approval from customers and raise F2F/BCR before shipment departure.
  • Monitor shipment uplift and transit to ensure timely arrival/delivery and highlight delays/offloading to shippers and destination offices.
  • Ensure timely creation and updates of specific customers' SOPs.
  • Develop a good understanding of customers' profiles and handling requirements to ensure 100% compliance and customer satisfaction.
  • Respond to customer complaints and enquiries promptly and provide possible suggestions/solutions or assist with recovery actions.
  • Build good business rapport with both external and internal customers.
  • Prepare and submit reports timely as required.
  • Take on additional tasks delegated by Department Supervisor/Manager.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum tertiary education with 3 to 5 years' relevant industry experience.
  • Computer literate and able to operate email.
  • Good interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good written and spoken English.
