Job Description
The Business Analyst role is a vital position within our organization, NETS Solutions. As a member of the Products & Engineering – Business Analyst team, you will report to the Project Manager and be responsible for liaising between stakeholders and the development team.
Your primary objective will be to ensure clear understanding and alignment for the products to be built or enhanced. This involves conducting requirement elicitation sessions with users, documenting user requirements and functional changes clearly and concisely, and ensuring proper sign-off of requirement specifications.
You will also conduct regular interactions with the technical team, providing necessary knowledge transfer of user expectations. Additionally, you will prepare User Manuals and project documentation, as well as training materials and conduct training for internal and external parties.
As a key player in the testing process, you will conduct testing activities, including preparing test plans, updating traceability matrices, generating test cases, performing test execution, reviewing test results, and generating test reports. You will manage, track, and ensure proper closure of defects detected during testing.
To succeed in this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology/Engineering, or equivalent education and/or experience. A minimum of 3-5 years of working experience in the payment industry is required, with hands-on experience in various stages of the product lifecycle.
A good understanding and experience in project management and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) are necessary. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Testing and Defect Management tools is also essential. Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must, as well as comfort in conducting presentations and training.
In addition, you should demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with domain knowledge and experience in the financial/payments industry being a plus. Proficiency in creating test plans, developing test cases, executing tests, and reporting test results is an advantage.
