About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing evidence-based policies, reviewing existing frameworks, and implementing strategic responses to ensure a coherent and effective approach to public health emergencies.

  • Develop and implement a robust crisis policy structure to support our preparedness and response to public health crises.
  • Design and consolidate policy tools and options for preventing, controlling, and managing infectious diseases threats during crises.
  • Ensure cohesive and informed policy planning across the organization by providing guidance and support to other divisions.
Requirements
  • Minimally a recognized education in Public Health or equivalent would be an added advantage but not a must.
  • Work experience in public health and/or policy development is preferred.
  • Analytical mindset, good organizational skills, and resourcefulness.
  • Good inter-personal and communication (written and verbal) skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a team and in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
