Experienced Construction Site Supervisor Wanted

Job Summary:

As a seasoned construction professional, you will oversee daily subcontractor meetings to discuss project structure and architectural issues. You will also monitor site progress and safety compliance of subcontractors, reporting findings to your superior and safety officer.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Singapore. If you are a self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills, we encourage you to apply for this challenging role.

Responsibilities:

  • Attend daily subcontractor meetings to discuss project structure and architectural issues
  • Monitor site progress and safety compliance of subcontractors
  • Report findings to superior and safety officer
  • Evaluate subcontractor work against approved drawings and details, taking remedial action for non-conformance
  • Conduct daily activity inspections with the project RE or RTO, addressing comments to ensure work approval
  • Maintain proper records of inspections for future reference and legal purposes
  • Communicate effectively with workers, subcontractors, and peers, seeking senior advice when necessary
  • Strive for efficient approval of tasks, observing and implementing BCA good practices on site
  • Assist in implementing the Environmental Health Safety program set by PM and WSHO for a safe, clean site
  • Upgrade skills through construction courses and explore cost-saving methods applicable on site
  • Accept additional responsibilities to support project cost savings
  • Guide new site supervisors for seamless team integration without affecting progress

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years relevant experience in Singapore
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Familiarity with BCA good practices and environmental health safety protocols
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
