Key Responsibilities for a High-Tech Manufacturing Technician
Overview- This is an overseas assignment that requires receiving instructions from the head of operations.
- Review the work area with the previous shift technician to identify any issues or concerns.
- Monitor defective products from the previous shift and report them to the team.
- Check operation processes and parameters of casting machines to ensure they are running smoothly.
- Maintain a tidy workspace by following safety guidelines and regulations.
- Solve technical problems and inform the head of operations about any issues.
- Perform Preventive and Predictive Maintenance tasks on equipment.
- Document all activities and outcomes.
- Prepare and deliver dye to casting machine funnels according to product manufacturing instructions.
- A diploma or related technical certification is required for this position.
- The ability to communicate effectively in English is essential for success in this role.
- You must be able to operate and adjust equipment according to product manufacturing instructions and manuals.
- Familiarity with occupational, electrical, and fire safety requirements is necessary for ensuring a safe working environment.
- Making informed decisions and taking responsibility are key qualities for this position.
Location: Riga, Latvia
Working Days/Hours: 4-day work schedule with 4 days off and a 12-hour rotating shift.
