**Job Title:** Senior DevOps Professional

We are seeking a skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining efficient CI/CD pipelines that automate software build, test, and deployment processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using languages like Bash and Python to streamline system administration and deployment tasks.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and development teams to optimize workflows and provide technical guidance.
  • Document deployment processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automating software build, test, and deployment processes using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or other relevant technologies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex deployment issues, performance bottlenecks, and system failures across the big data and CI/CD environments.
  • Proficiency in Linux, with advanced knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) versions.
  • Experience in writing Linux shell scripts.
  • Handson experience with big data technologies, particularly Apache Hadoop and Cloudera Data Platform (CDP).
  • Experience with the deployment and administration of Dataiku, including knowledge of the Dataiku DSS and Project Deployer.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for resolving technical issues during deployments and production operations.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Expert-level proficiency in Linux and Windows operating systems.
  • Advanced knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash, Python, and Ruby.
  • Experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of continuous integration and delivery tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and CircleCI.
  • Understanding of agile development methodologies and version control systems such as Git.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
