Senior DevOps Engineering Professional

We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Platform group, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and cloud solutions.

Your expertise in AWS, Terraform, CloudFormation, GitLab pipelines, and Prisma will enable us to enhance the efficiency and reliability of our data projects.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in cloud computing, infrastructure as code, and containerization technologies.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab to streamline development, testing, and deployment of API and Data projects.
  • Utilize AWS services to architect scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform and CloudFormation to automate provisioning and management of cloud resources.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement best practices for infrastructure automation, security, and monitoring.
  • Work closely with data engineers and data scientists to configure and optimize CI/CD pipelines for data projects.
  • Implement and manage containerization and orchestration solutions to enhance application scalability and portability.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD pipeline management.
  • Extensive experience with AWS services, including but not limited to EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, Airflow, and IAM.
  • Strong proficiency in infrastructure as code tools, including Terraform and CloudFormation.
  • Experience with GitLab pipelines, including creating, managing, and optimizing CI/CD workflows.
  • Knowledge of Prisma and its integration with various data projects.
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similar.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in AWS (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) or other relevant certifications.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or similar.
  • Knowledge of database management and optimization, particularly in cloud environments.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and tools such as Jira or Confluence.
