Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Machinist to join our team. As a Machinist, you will be responsible for performing various machining tasks, including on-site machining, flange facing, X-Y milling, boring, and drilling jobs.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work well under pressure. You will be required to interpret customer drawings, dimensions, and tolerances, and prepare tools for the job and arrange transport through SCM department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform on-site machining, flange facing, X-Y milling, boring, and drilling jobs.
  • Lead as team leader and perform in-situ grinding on crankshaft crankpin, fillet re-grinding & main journal and annealing of crankpin.
  • Interpret customer drawings, dimensions, and tolerances and requirements.
  • Prepare and pack tools for the job and arrange transport through SCM department.
  • On completion of inspection, record dimensions with reports on both hard and soft copy using Goltens templates including providing repair recommendation.
  • Timely and professionally handle service calls and issues arising from the field visits.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • At least ITE certificate or O' Level qualification.
  • At least 2 years related working experience.
  • Technological knowledge.
  • Basic analytical skills in dealing with machining variances.
  • Able to travel overseas.
