As a senior engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and developing cutting-edge computing solutions to meet the diverse needs of public safety and security. Your key responsibilities include:
- Designing and building high-performance AI & Cloud infrastructure for accelerated applications
- Implementing innovative principles of Lean operations in managing advanced compute environments, including GPU and other compute clusters and cloud-based solutions
- Ensuring the scalability, reliability, and security of digital resources to support diverse software and AI/ML workloads
- Innovating accelerated computing by exploring novel algorithms and hardware solutions that push the boundaries of current computational capabilities
- Implementing best practices for infrastructure as code (IaC), configuration management, and version control
- Designing, developing, and integrating scalable architectures for complex computational tasks
- Ensuring compliance with security policies and regulatory requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computing / Computer Science / Engineering, or a related discipline
- 2-5 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, with a focus on software development, software engineering, and/or AI engineering
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms and on-premises infrastructure
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Terraform, and CISCO ACI scripts
- Experience with setting up Kubernetes clusters, containerization, and workload scheduling
- Familiarity with database and storage solutions
- Understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively
