At our facility, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Care Nurse to join our team. As a Registered Care Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities:- Support and participate in quality improvement and research activities to enhance resident care management and improve practices.
- Comply with relevant regulations and standards in care and documentation.
- Respond promptly and professionally in emergency situations, perform first aid as needed, and arrange for ambulance transport when necessary.
- Provide guidance and support to care partners on basic nursing issues.
- Monitor residents' health and nutritional status daily and escalate concerns to the Senior Nurse as required.
- Assist with physical examinations and minor procedures according to competency levels.
- Collect and dispatch specimens accurately and on time.
- Administer prescribed medications safely and in accordance with the 10 rights.
- Observe and report any adverse side effects or ineffectiveness of medications.
- Document incidents of adverse reactions and medication errors.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and report to the Senior Nurse accordingly.
- Record accurate and concise statements on the nursing care provided to residents, meeting required standards.
- Monitor residents' nutritional status and intervene where necessary.
- Encourage independence and provide support for residents' hygiene care needs.
- Implement preventive (e.g., moisturizer) and therapeutic (e.g., positioning) skincare routines to preserve skin integrity and prevent pressure injuries.
