The role of the Assistant Nurse Manager is to provide professional support and guidance to the nursing team in a healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement clinical training programs for staff members.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure ongoing development and improvement of clinical services.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships between residents, families, and healthcare providers.
- Investigate and report on incidents, ensuring timely communication of responses to families.
- Provide guidance on managing resident complaints and enquiries.
Clinical Standards:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant nursing standards and regulations.
- Lead quality assurance activities to monitor and evaluate the quality of nursing care.
- Promote evidence-based practice and delivery of high-quality care.
- Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and work processes to guide nursing care.
- Conduct competency evaluations and in-house training to enhance clinical knowledge among staff.
Requirements:
- Registered nurse with a degree or advanced diploma in nursing.
- Valid practicing license issued by the relevant nursing board.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
- At least 5-6 years of clinical experience, including 2-3 years in management or as a senior staff nurse.
- Excellent initiative, drive, and self-motivation skills.
- Able to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and employees.
- Strong tolerance for stress and ambiguity.
- People-centered approach to care delivery.
