Home Based Infant Caregiver Opportunity

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Home Based Infant Caregiver to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for the right individual to work in a home-based setting, providing high-quality care to infants and supporting their overall development.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that promotes the physical, cognitive, and social-emotional development of each infant under their supervision. They will adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper hygiene practices and safe sleep guidelines. Additionally, they will engage infants in age-appropriate activities to encourage sensory exploration, language development, and motor skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Create a safe and engaging home environment for infants aged 2-6 months.
  • Develop and implement activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development.
  • Maintain accurate records of infant feeding, sleeping, and activity schedules.
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's daily routine and progress.
  • Respond promptly to infant needs, including feeding, diapering, and comforting as required.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Medically fit to care for 1 to 3 infants/children.
  • Previous experience in caring for children, preferably infants.
  • A child-safe environment with appropriate safety measures in place.
  • Basic education qualifications, such as 'O' level or secondary school.
  • Infant care certification, although not essential.
