Job Summary
BoardRoom Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Secretarial Senior to join our team. As a key member of our corporate secretariat, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our clients and ensuring compliance with relevant statutory and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in handling a portfolio of clients, including liaising with auditors and ensuring timely completion of corporate secretarial duties.
- Handle full spectrum of corporate secretarial duties, including company incorporations, registration of foreign branches & representative offices, striking-off of companies, and preparation of directors/ shareholders resolutions.
- Assist in drafting and updating database of corporate secretarial precedents.
- Ensure compliance with relevant statutory and regulatory requirements by both the company and clients.
- Perform other corporate or ad-hoc duties as required.
Requirements
- Possess a Degree/Diploma in Business Administration or Law.
- Have at least 2-3 years of relevant experience, preferably with experience in handling public listed companies.
- Holding or currently pursuing corporate secretarial qualifications (SAICSA) would be advantageous.
- Prior experience in corporate secretarial work is a great advantage, but inexperienced candidates are welcomed as well.
- Have in-depth knowledge of Listing Manual, Companies Act, Catalist Rules, and Securities and Futures Act, procedures and guidelines.
- Be able to work both in a team environment and independently.
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Be organized, detailed, and deadline-oriented.
- Be flexible and adaptable in working styles.
- Be proactive in offering new suggestions and sharing knowledge.
- Have the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
- Be able to work under pressure.
