Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and refine mathematics curriculum aligned with the Singapore MOE syllabus and PSLE requirements, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Create lesson plans, worksheets, practice papers, and enrichment materials tailored to various student levels, promoting academic excellence.
  • Incorporate problem-solving strategies and mathematical thinking into curriculum design, fostering critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Provide training and mentoring to teachers on effective lesson delivery, pedagogy, and exam preparation techniques, enhancing their instructional skills.
  • Conduct classroom observations and evaluate teaching quality to ensure high standards, driving continuous improvement.
  • Analyze student performance data to identify learning gaps and develop targeted solutions, improving curriculum effectiveness.
  • Gather feedback from students and parents to inform strategic decisions, driving innovation in education.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred), demonstrating expertise and knowledge.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in curriculum design, academic R&D, or teaching Mathematics at the primary/PSLE level, showcasing a strong track record.
  • Deep understanding of the Singapore MOE Mathematics syllabus and PSLE exam trends, ensuring relevance and effectiveness.
  • Excellent logical reasoning and problem-solving abilities, with strong academic writing skills, facilitating clear communication.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, capable of training and supporting teachers, promoting teamwork and success.
  • Passion for education, detail-oriented, and committed to innovation in pedagogy, driving progress and excellence.
