Mechanical Engineering Expert

We are seeking a seasoned Mechanical Engineer to spearhead Mechanical Engineering activities and in-house site surveys for projects. This role involves driving tasks from initial concept definition phase through to engineering studies, FEED, detailed design, and commissioning.


Main Responsibilities:
  • Drive Mechanical Engineering activities and in-house site surveys for projects.
  • Incorporate and enforce the company's technical assurance practices, engineering standards, environmental and safety policies.
  • Support the Engineering Department to review, update and apply company's standards and amendments to external standards.
  • Plan and co-ordinate activities of a team of multidiscipline engineers for providing timely delivery of technical services.
  • Co-ordinate engineering designs, develop and review multi-disciplinary workscopes for projects and other engineering activities.
  • Review and approve method statements developed by contracted organisations for scope compliance.
  • Develop, update, and monitor schedules for in-house engineering activities.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Chartered Engineer / Professional Engineer status or equivalent is preferable.
  • 10 years relevant post graduate experience, of which 6 years should be related to the Oil & Gas industry in both Static and Piping disciplines.
  • Expert level competency is required at least in one of the discipline areas (i.e., static or piping).
  • Ability to identify and utilise relevant engineering standards, international codes, and company standards.
  • Proven ability for effectively managing time, cost, and quality in either greenfield or brownfield engineering major projects.
