Postdoctoral Researcher Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team in the field of Physical Optics, Applied Optics/Applied Physics, Optical Engineering, Instrumentation, Biomedical Engineering or equivalent qualifications.

  • This is a fixed-term contract opportunity allowing you to develop your research skills and expertise.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and construction of line-scanned and FPGA linear-detection systems for super-resolution microscopy, nonlinear optics, Fourier optics, fiber-optics, SERS, near-field optics, surface plasmon, ultrafast laser technique, and optoelectronics.
  • Interfacing between hardware and imaging software control for seamless operation.
  • Development of algorithms for signal processing using C++, Matlab, Labview/GUI.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A PhD in Physical Optics, Applied Optics/Applied Physics, Optical Engineering, Instrumentation, Biomedical Engineering or equivalent qualifications.
  • Demonstrated excellence in ultrafast lasers and pulse shaping/spectral focusing.
  • Hands-on experience with ultrafast lasers.
  • Proficiency in programming using C++, Matlab, Labview/GUI advantageous.
