Procurement Specialist

The Procurement Specialist is a critical role that oversees the acquisition of goods and services for projects. This position plays a key part in ensuring timely, cost-effective, and compliant procurement of materials, equipment, and services.


Key Responsibilities:

This role includes strategic sourcing, vendor management, and purchase order management. The Procurement Specialist must identify, evaluate, and qualify vendors; maintain approved vendor lists; and develop supplier relationships to ensure on-time delivery performance.


Purchase Order Management:

The Procurement Specialist ensures timely issuance of purchase orders, monitors procurement lead times, and coordinates with internal teams to align procurement with project schedules.


Cost Optimization:

Achieve targeted procurement cost savings by monitoring supplier NCR rates and negotiating best value without compromising quality.


Supply Chain Management:

Maintain optimal inventory levels, track material availability, and coordinate logistics for efficient delivery.


Documentation and Compliance:

Maintain accurate procurement documentation and ensure compliance with company policies, contractual requirements, and audit standards.


Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Liaise with internal stakeholders to align procurement priorities and participate in project review meetings to provide status updates.


Performance Reporting:

Maintain a procurement KPI dashboard and submit monthly reports for review and incentive validation.


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred)
  • Minimum 8–10 years' procurement experience in EPC, offshore wind, oil & gas, or modular fabrication industries
  • Strong negotiation, vendor management, and contract management skills
  • Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and MS Office tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of quality standards, HSE compliance, and industry regulations
