Green Hub Development Coordinator

We are seeking a Science Support Assistant to join our school community. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic about maintaining a safe and clean learning environment, assisting teachers with resources, and contributing to the growth of our green hub area.
- Maintain the safety and cleanliness of the science laboratory and its equipment, ensuring a secure and well-organized space for students and staff.
- Support the maintenance of the school's green hub area, gardens, hydroponics area, and other planting grounds, promoting sustainability and environmental awareness.
- Assist teachers in preparing science resources, practical performance tasks, and environmental sustainability projects, fostering collaboration and creativity.
- Provide support for the maintenance of special rooms such as the art room during school holidays, organizing resources and equipment.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Science department, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
Key Requirements:
- Experience working in a primary school setting is highly desirable.
- Work or personal experience in gardening or environmental-related activities would be an asset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues and students.
- Excellent organizational skills, ensuring timely completion of tasks and projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word and Excel, facilitating efficient record-keeping and data management.
Working Arrangements:
Monday to Friday: 7.30am to 4.30pm. No service required on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays.
