Green Spaces Coordinator

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team of professionals who are passionate about sustainability and green living. As a Green Spaces Coordinator, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering educational and community programmes that promote sustainability, urban farming, and ecological literacy.

About the Role:
The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for sustainability and green living, with a strong working knowledge of gardening, farming, or horticulture. They will be confident speaking to a range of audiences, including kids, adults, and educators, and able to facilitate engaging, interactive learning experiences.

Responsibilities:
  1. Plan, coordinate, and implement on-site and off-site programmes, including farm tours, gardening workshops, school programmes, and community events.
  2. Lead or co-facilitate sessions on sustainability topics such as composting, food growing, biodiversity, and waste reduction.
  3. Support the design and maintenance of edible gardens, learning plots, and farm demonstration areas across multiple sites.
  4. Prepare programme materials and manage logistics, including scheduling, setup/teardown, and liaising with vendors, clients, and partners.
  5. Document and evaluate programmes through photos, feedback collection, and reporting.
  6. Collaborate with internal teams to co-create new green learning experiences and improve existing programmes.

Requirements:
You will need to be proactive, adaptable, and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and respond to real-time needs on the ground. Experience in education, events, youth engagement, or environmental NGOs is a plus. Willingness to work outdoors in varied weather and love being surrounded by plants and soil.
