Job Description

As a Senior Cost Management Specialist, you will play a vital role in the construction team, responsible for managing and controlling costs throughout a project. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the successful execution of projects.

  • Preparation and management of tender documents, including Bills of Quantities (BOQ), clarifications, and unit prices.
  • Measuring quantities from drawings for take-offs.
  • Preparation of proposals and quotations for customers.
  • Evaluation of price comparisons and cost summaries.
  • Preparation of tender documents for subcontractor/vendor quotations.
  • Source and analysis of quotations for relevant trade works.
  • Raising tender queries and design discrepancies promptly.
  • Ensuring supplier equipment and subcontractor quotes meet tender requirements.
  • Creating accurate cost estimates for interior design projects, factoring in all costs.
  • Handling tender correspondence and updates for changes to documents.
  • Conducting technical reviews of supplier/contractor quotations for compliance.
  • Reviewing and updating costing summaries based on tender addenda and revisions.
  • Preparing monthly progress claims for customers.
  • Verifying and maintaining records of project variation work and site instructions.
  • Assisting in compiling tender submissions, including qualifications.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.
