The Director of Commercial Excellence will spearhead the commercial strategy, providing visionary leadership and executing sales plans to drive profitable growth in Asia Pacific. This role will collaborate with global and regional leadership teams to deliver on strategic priorities and enhance business performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the commercial operating and reporting mechanism to drive accountability within the Asia Pacific region and countries through sales funnel management, revenue performance metrics against established goals while performing win-loss analyses.
- Develop and communicate strategic product direction within the Asia Pacific region and countries to ensure a healthy pipeline of new solutions for surgeons and sales teams.
- Collaborate with the Business Development organization to bring third-party products or develop new solutions to Asia Pacific.
- Own responsibility for regional revenue and installations in terms of Annual Operating Plan and Quarterly Projections, driving adoption ownership and consistent procedure metrics.
- Direct sales governance policies through continuing assessment and support on capital product pricing and sales models.
Expected Areas of Competence / Soft Skills:
- Understanding of robotics and capital equipment sales processes.
- Understanding of regulations and guidelines in APAC pertaining to medical devices and capital sales processes.
- Ability to lead, influence others, and handle increasing levels of responsibilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to identify and provide solutions to complex operational issues.
