Job Title: Senior Radiochemist

This role offers a unique opportunity to join a dedicated molecular imaging research centre as a senior radiochemist. The successful candidate will be responsible for the routine production of radiopharmaceuticals inside a Clean Room environment, in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).

The ideal candidate will have strong technical and analytical expertise, with experience in method development and validation of new radiopharmaceuticals. They will also assist in preparing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and other quality documentation.

Key responsibilities include performing radiolabelling of peptides, antibodies, or small molecules using radionuclides such as Lu-177, Ga-68, F-18, etc., reviewing batch records, lab notebooks, SOPs and other documents, and assisting with emergency maintenance/calibration of radiochemistry synthesis and dispensing modules.

In addition, the successful candidate will support deviation investigations, CAPAs, and change control implementations as needed, perform ad-hoc clean room activities, including cleaning of rooms, stock inventory and environmental monitoring, and handle radioactive materials safely, including hazardous waste disposal.

The role requires the ability to work flexible hours, shifts, or weekends based on production schedules and isotope half-lives, and to perform any other duties assigned by the Head of Department in accordance with GMP and safety regulations.
