Category Management Role

We are seeking a seasoned professional to drive value creation in our Electronics Manufacturing Equipment category. This role will enable new capabilities within the CAPEX community for contract and development of a new supply base.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a Global Category Sourcing Plan, managing global suppliers through Category Management Teams
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify global opportunities, source, and consolidate contracts
  • Ensure a "One Procurement" approach to governance and compliance, working closely with local teams from other procurement categories
  • Manage the contract process, acting as single point of contact for procurement, legal, and finance teams
  • Sustain a scalable and flexible global supply base, conducting commercial negotiations, SRM contracting/negotiations, and performance management
  • Be accountable for all aspects of commercial governance, including Code of Conduct, contract, and PO compliance

This role requires a strategic flair and collaborative mindset, with 3+ years of experience in procurement, relationship management, project management, and/or engineering in an international company.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strategic flair and collaborative person with 3+ years of relevant experience in procurement, relationship management, project management, and/or engineering
  • Experience with CAPEX contract management, especially Complex High Speed Automation Equipment and Sub-Assembly
  • Negotiation skills and experience with large, complex spend
  • Specialist knowledge within manufacturing equipment, especially High Speed Automation Equipment and Sub-Assembly systems, and knowledge of engineering processes
  • Leadership partnering experience with C-level at external suppliers and internal SD level
  • International mobility, expecting travel of 20-25 days per year
