Administrative Responsibilities

  • Ensure adherence to established operational protocols and policies by team members.
  • Maintain and update attendance and health log records for the team.
  • Monitor compliance with departmental standard operating procedures.
  • Align efforts with the company's mission and vision, aiming to surpass customer expectations.
  • Deliver exceptional service to clients in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Uphold high service standards to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Address customer inquiries with tact, providing alternative solutions when necessary.
  • Aim to meet and exceed customer expectations consistently.
  • Manage complaints from dissatisfied customers effectively.
  • Be open to customer feedback and respond with patience.
  • Provide administrative support to clients as needed.
  • Facilitate smooth operations within the team.
  • Organize departmental events and team-building activities.
  • Ensure cleanliness in workspaces and promote energy conservation.
  • Update operational checklists and guarantee proper task transitions.
  • Possess basic knowledge of property-related information.
  • Participate in CSR and Eco 360 initiatives.
  • Contribute to sustainability efforts.
  • Attend quarterly training sessions for departmental development.
  • Maintain physical fitness and a positive mental attitude.
  • Be cross-trained at various locations.
  • Encouraged to propose ideas for process enhancements.
  • Complete tasks assigned by management.

Departmental Duties

  • Manage crowd control during events.
  • Conduct daily security patrols.
  • Document occurrences in the logbook on a daily basis.
  • Issue chains and locks as necessary.
  • Oversee escalator and lift operations based on client requirements.
  • Coordinate lift usage for VIPs and artists.
  • Provide buggy services when needed.
  • Monitor contractor behavior during MICE events.
  • Report and track building maintenance issues.
  • Supervise casual labor as required.
  • Inspect for unauthorized storage.
  • Collaborate with the Facilities team for event setups.
  • Assist the Logistics team with equipment rentals and distribution.
  • Support traffic management during events.
  • Operate high-reach equipment and forklifts.
  • Manage loading and unloading areas.
  • Conduct briefings for contractors regarding event setup and dismantling.
  • Assist with air wall installations in exhibition halls.
  • Ensure cleanliness during MICE events and address any damage.
  • Assist with deliveries, safety incidents, and medical emergencies during MICE events.
  • Handle intoxicated guests and report any unusual incidents to security.
  • Be prepared for emergency situations.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION

  • Completion of secondary education.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • At least 2 years of experience in security roles.
  • Experience in the conventions or hospitality industry is preferred.
  • Possession of a forklift and high-reach equipment license is advantageous.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Capable of multitasking and performing under pressure.
  • Proficient in English and at least one additional language.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Willingness to work across all three shifts.
  • Exhibit a positive attitude and self-motivation.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Adhere to attendance policies and company regulations.
  • Interact professionally with staff, management, contractors, and guests.
  • Respond to emergencies and manage conflicts with composure.
  • Familiarity with departmental policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a mature demeanor and professional appearance.
  • Exhibit good phone etiquette.
  • Proof of eligibility to work in Singapore is required.
  • Willingness to assist in other departments and participate in training.
