Automation Engineer for Pharmaceutical Systems

About the RoleWe are seeking skilled professionals to join our team as Junior Automation Engineers, where you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, configuring, and supporting DeltaV distributed control system (DCS) applications. This exciting opportunity offers exposure to system development, testing, and lifecycle management, while working closely with manufacturing and quality teams to ensure compliant and efficient operations.
- Design, develop, and configure DeltaV DCS applications, including control modules, phases, and batch logic.
- Assist in troubleshooting, maintenance, and support of existing automation systems, ensuring seamless operation and minimizing downtime.
- Support automation lifecycle activities, including FAT/SAT, commissioning, and validation (IQ/OQ/PQ), to guarantee system reliability and integrity.
- Collaborate with process, QA, IT, and manufacturing teams to deliver automation solutions that meet production readiness and new product introduction requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on data integrity, cyber resiliency, and system reliability, to optimize business performance.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A degree or diploma in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Chemical, or related).
- 1-2 years' experience in pharma/biotech automation, with exposure to DeltaV development and support.
- A solid understanding of GMP, GAMP 5, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and documentation skills.
- A collaborative mindset, with a willingness to learn and grow.
