The Opportunity:

A global engineering company that provides cutting-edge solutions to the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors is seeking for an Automation Engineer. You will be responsible for high-quality, automated production systems that meet the strictest industry standards and contribute to designing the future of pharmaceutical manufacturing.

Role Overview:

As an Automation Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and implementing automation systems that power pharmaceutical production. You'll work closely with engineering, IT, and manufacturing teams to ensure that systems are integrated, validated, and operate in compliance with regulatory standards such as GMP and other requirements.

What you will do:

  • Design and develop automation systems (PLC, SCADA, DCS) for pharmaceutical production lines
  • Configure and integrate software and hardware for process control
  • Collaborate with process and mechanical engineers to align automation with production needs
  • Support commissioning, qualification, and validation (CQV) of automated systems
  • Troubleshoot control systems and support change management in a regulated environment
  • Ensure compliance with data integrity and regulatory standards (GMP etc.)

What We're Looking For:

  • Degree in Automation, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
  • Experience with PLCs (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley), SCADA systems, or DCS platforms
  • Prior work in pharmaceutical, biotech, or cleanroom manufacturing environments similar or is preferred.
  • Understanding of GMP, GAMP5, and validation protocols
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
