Project Control and OversightWe are seeking a seasoned Senior Project Management Specialist to lead project control and oversight initiatives. As a trusted advisor, you will assess engineer and contractor bids, change notices, and costs to ensure optimal value for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess engineer and contractor bids, change notices, and costs to ensure best value for clients
- Prepare client project funding documents in collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Maintain visibility on-site, assessing engineer and contractor progress
- Create and manage cost forecasts for key client developments
- Negotiate agreements with external partners to secure pricing terms
- Manage and monitor project schedules, reporting on exceptions to the plan
- Lead estimate review meetings and prepare owner estimates
- Proactively identify and mitigate project risks
- Support the final reconciliation of contracts and purchase orders
- Provide regular executive and project status reports to stakeholders
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A proven track record in project controls, including cost control, scheduling, and estimating
- A degree or equivalent experience in a construction-related field
- Prior experience in data center projects is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A dynamic environment with opportunities to prioritize and meet deadlines
- The ability to build strong relationships with your team and clients
