Commercial Property Loan Specialist Role


We are seeking an experienced and skilled Commercial Property Loan Specialist to join our team. As a Commercial Property Loan Specialist, you will play a critical role in proactively and reactively contacting existing commercial property loan customers to reprice their loans.


Your primary responsibility will be to identify opportunities for repricing packages that maintain portfolio volume and profitability. To achieve this goal, you must possess excellent interpersonal skills, objection handling abilities, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.


In addition to your customer-facing responsibilities, you will also be responsible for ensuring proper documentation and compliance with regulatory property financing guidelines. This includes cross-referencing and selling other bank products to customers, as well as performing ad-hoc duties assigned by your supervisor.


To excel in this role, you should have a minimum diploma holder qualification and be well-organised, meticulous, and able to take initiative. A customer service mindset and the ability to learn quickly and pick up commercial property knowledge and regulatory requirements are essential.


The ideal candidate will have good communication skills, be proactive, and have a strong work ethic. Knowledge of commercial property lending is desirable but not required.
