Bids and Proposal Specialist

Manage all technical and commercial components for multi-disciplinary services bids. Prepare internal governance, production of winning proposals, and presentations to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and manage proposal technical components, internal governance, pricing, and presentations.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills and ability to recognise, process, and present information.
  • Fully understand the requirements of the Request for Proposal (RFP), coordinate with technical leads for required technical and commercial inputs.
  • Ensure that the RFP scope is addressed adequately and all costs are accurately considered.
  • Obtain quotes from sub-consultants as required and negotiate appropriate terms and conditions based on standard contract and risk committee requirements.
  • Prepare compelling proposals with win themes based on a complete understanding of client needs.
  • Understand the competition and market trends and work closely with the Work Winning Team on strategic pursuits.
  • Verify that all legal qualifications and risk committee directives have been included in the final bid document before submission to the client.
Requirements:
  • Diploma with a minimum of 4 years working experience for Bids & Proposals.
  • Possess a flair for communication, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient level of English both oral and written.
  • Highly organised, meticulous, with an eye for detail.
  • Comprehensive range of administrative skills and client support services.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills. A proactive and effective communicator who can relate well to people at all levels.
  • Ability to build constructive and effective relationships using diplomacy and tact.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
  • Advanced Word, Excel, and PowerPoint computer skills.
  • Familiar with a suite of e-Procurement systems.
  • Positive thinker with a can-do attitude and a willingness to learn.
