Job Title: Commodities Application Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Commodities Application Specialist to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to take on a challenging role and make a significant impact in the field of commodities trading.

  • This position requires strong knowledge of Murex MX3/G2000, particularly in the FX Cash and Commodity modules.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing follow-the-sun Level 2 production system support, including:

  • Strong knowledge of Murex MX3/G2000 in FX Cash and Commodity module
  • Supporting the Front Office FXC, FXO, Precious and Base Metal Trading desk
  • Providing End-to-End production application support with ITIL scope
  • Managing incidents in a timely fashion and tracking till closure
  • Managing Problem management for recurring incidents
  • Participating in change and release management for the production delivery
  • Participating weekly Murex vendor call, action plans, follow-up's on problems
  • Knowledge on FX Cash, Derivative Products (Future, SWAP and OPTIONS contracts)
  • Knowledge on Capital market and Trading Life Cycle
  • Understanding & prior experience of full end to end system support in Price quote, trade confirmations, settlement, P&L modules
  • Experience and supporting Electronic Trade Risk Reporting and Confirmation process

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Engineering or Computer Science preferred with relevant industry experience
  • Experience in providing technical support for FX Cash, Option, Base Metals and Precious Metals desks within an investment company
