We are looking for an experienced and skilled Database Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing high-performance database systems that meet the needs of our business partners.
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in computer science, including data structures, algorithms, and multithreaded programming. They should also have experience with storage engine design and implementation, as well as proficiency in languages such as C/C++.
Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:
- Designing and implementing storage engines for distributed databases (cloud-native architecture)
- Responsible for/participate in engineer-related design, implementation, testing, optimization, integration and other work.
- Building a storage engine with high throughput, low latency, and high fault tolerance, analyze system performance bottlenecks, and create an extreme system.
- Tracking cutting-edge database technologies and exploring/implementing opportunities for new technologies.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical background involving software/system engineering, or equivalent working experience. They should also be familiar with the design and implementation of database storage engines or distributed storage-related modules, such as ClickHouse, Greenplum, MySQL, Doris, K/V, etc.
