Job Title: Marine Operations AssistantAbout the Role

We are seeking a skilled Marine Operations Assistant to join our team in Singapore. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the success of our organization.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing day-to-day marine operations to ensure smooth and efficient vessel movements. This includes coordinating with shipmasters, agents, and other stakeholders to facilitate port calls, cargo operations, and crew changes.

In addition, the Marine Operations Assistant will be responsible for monitoring and ensuring compliance with international maritime regulations and company policies. This includes handling documentation related to shipping operations, including bills of lading, cargo manifests, and customs declarations.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work well under pressure, and have a strong understanding of maritime regulations and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage day-to-day marine operations to ensure smooth and efficient vessel movements.
  • Coordinate with shipmasters, agents, and other stakeholders to facilitate port calls, cargo operations, and crew changes.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with international maritime regulations and company policies.
  • Handle documentation related to shipping operations, including bills of lading, cargo manifests, and customs declarations.
  • Manage and resolve any operational issues or emergencies that may arise.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as maritime management, logistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a marine operations role.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong understanding of maritime regulations and procedures.
