Job Title: Water Systems Innovator

We are seeking a highly skilled Water Systems Innovator to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a cutting-edge research project that focuses on the development of a demonstration scale low-pressure membrane system.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering on this project, working closely with our research team to develop and implement innovative solutions. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in the co-supervision of final year projects (FYP) or capstone projects
  • Designing, planning, and setting up a demonstration scale LPMS plant at a site allocated by PUB
  • Designing, planning, and setting up a lab-scale LPMS plant at our Punggol campus
  • Carrying out experiments, data logging, and analysis of collected data
  • Correlating experimental data with computational fluid dynamics (CFD) results generated by an expert
  • Drafting reports, conference proceedings, and journal articles based on project outcomes
  • Preparing and sharing fortnightly reports of results from computations with the program director and PI
  • Supporting the procurement and maintenance of software/hardware under the charge of the PI

To be considered for this role, you will need to have a recognised degree from a good University and relevant experience in Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Chemical or Environmental Engineering. You should also possess strong analytical and critical thinking skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
