Associate Engineer
">This role presents an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team. As an Associate Engineer, you will be responsible for performing routine and non-routine testing assignments within the department assigned. This involves ensuring timely and accurate test results under minimal direct supervision.

The successful candidate will provide technical and engineering leadership, supporting the development of new technologies within a local laboratory. They will also be expected to release testing data to customers in a timely manner, interact with customers on technical issues, and make presentations to stakeholders.

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong background in Materials Science, Materials Engineering, or Civil Engineering, as well as a minimum of 2 years' relevant post-degree engineering experience. You should also possess excellent computer skills and be proficient in laboratory safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
Providing technical and engineering leadership and support for the development of new technologies.
Ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of testing data release to customers.
Interacting with customers on technical issues and questions.
Making presentations to stakeholders on conventional and/or routine testing.
Supporting the professional development of novice technicians and engineers.

Requirements:
Bachelor Degree in Materials Science, Materials Engineering, or Civil Engineering.
Minimum 2 years' pertinent post-degree engineering experience.
Demonstrated ability to apply academic knowledge within the context of the business.
In-depth understanding of testing concepts.
Strong computer skills.
