Character and Citizenship Education Officer

Job Description

The Character and Citizenship Education (CCE) programme is a national initiative that aims to develop well-rounded individuals with strong character, leadership, and citizenship values. As a CCE officer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the experiences of students in the National Police Cadet Corps and implementing programmes that support their character, citizenship, and leadership development.

You will be based at the Home Team Academy and work closely with the National Police Cadet Corps (NPCC) to develop and implement CCE programmes that are engaging, relevant, and effective. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the implementation of CCE 2021 through Uniformed Group (UG) programmes that develop character, leadership, and citizenship values
  • Mentoring and coaching Teacher Officers to enhance their curriculum delivery and facilitation skills
  • Supervising the planning and conduct of UG activities, including local and overseas programmes
  • Collaborating with UG strategic partners to identify, plan, and implement enriching UG-organized programmes
  • Coordinating logistics and performing administrative functions
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, ability to articulate effectively, and demonstrate sound analytical thinking. Prior experience in the Uniformed Services would be an advantage.
